About Carol Das
Carol Das Neves is an Ayurveda Health Consultant dedicated to supporting individuals in achieving and maintaining long-term health through personalised, preventive, and holistic care.
Her work is grounded in Ayurveda, one of the world's oldest systems of healthcare, which recognises that every individual has a unique constitution and therefore benefits from an individualised approach to health. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, Ayurveda seeks to understand the underlying patterns that influence physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing, supporting the body's natural capacity to restore balance.
Carol is certified in Ayurveda Health through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and The Chopra Center in the United States and is currently undertaking advanced clinical studies in Ayurveda at the Ayurveda Pura Academy in the United Kingdom, further deepening her knowledge of traditional Ayurvedic assessment and clinical practice.
Alongside her professional education in Ayurveda, Carol has devoted many years to the study of meditation, consciousness, Advaita Vedanta, and contemplative philosophy, including training with the Eckhart Tolle School of Awakening. These studies continue to inform her understanding of the relationship between mind, behaviour, and health, complementing her Ayurvedic approach while remaining grounded in personalised care.
Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and born into a family of mixed European heritage, Carol has lived and studied across Brazil, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. She spent many years in London, where she completed her degree in Development Studies and International Relations at the University of Westminster, an academic foundation that continues to shape her broad understanding of the social, cultural, and environmental factors that influence health and wellbeing.
Now based in Cascais, Portugal, Carol works with clients in both English and Portuguese through personalised Ayurvedic Health Consultations and Therapeutic Meditation & Breathwork sessions. Her approach combines traditional Ayurvedic wisdom with practical, evidence-informed guidance, empowering individuals to make sustainable changes that support long-term health.
Carol welcomes opportunities to collaborate with integrative clinics, healthcare professionals, and organisations seeking a personalised, preventive approach to health that complements contemporary healthcare.
